The Wood is a unisex fragrance created by the design house of Issey Miyake. It's unique blend of notes starts with top notes of Grapefruit, Elemi and Cardamom. The heart combines Apricot, Ambroxan, Virginian Cedar and Sandalwood. The base is composed of Woody Notes, Haitian Vetiver and Patchouli. A heartwarming balance of woody notes is resolved with a hint of fragrant Indian sandalwood.
With the inspiration of the traditional Japanese artisans that Issey Miyake was surrounded by during his childhood, he used Japanese-style lacquer for this luxurious wood-effect perfume bottle. It has an artistic yet masculine shape, with a large gold stopper top and gorgeous brown-and-gold etchings around the gold detailing. This perfume has amazing power to remain vibrant without being too powerful.
