About The Brand:

Hermetica was founded in 2018 by Thierry Wasser, the 12th perfumer in history, and the only living perfumer who has done his apprenticeship with both a master perfumer and a master chypre perfumer. Hermetica fragrances are made in collaboration with famous French perfumers Phillippe Paparella-Paris and Alienor Massenet. The brand focused their talents on creating a number of olfactive universes where chyrpiness still has a predominant role, but where other styles can coexist.

Hermetica is a collection of molecular fragrances inspired by the ancient practice of alchemy, which sought to transform basic metals into precious materials and to find the ultimate elixir of life. Applying these practices to modern day perfume-making, Hermetica is based on the belief that finding the perfect perfume relies on the chemical connection between the molecules within a fragrance and one’s skin.
