Clinique Aromatics in Black Perfume is a part of Clinique's newest update to its 1971 fragrance, Aromatics Elixir. This perfume opens with an intoxicating array of scents, such as Italian bergamot, pink grapefruit and plum leaf. The heart adds sensuality to the composition with notes of neroli, jasmine and osmanthus. Tonka beans in the base intertwines with vetiver and myrrh for a powerful closing. The Clinique fragrance is intensified by the warmth of your own body. Apply in the creases of your skin and neck for a longer lasting scent that fades off less quickly. After applying, avoid rubbing or dabbing skin. This breaks down the fragrance, causing it to wear off more quickly. If you prefer placing fragrance on wrists, be sure to reapply after frequent hand-washing, as this tends to rinse off the scent.

The earliest edition was created in 1971 and the newest is from 2021. Clinique fragrances were made in collaboration with perfumers Sophia Grojsman, Raymond Matts, Ron Winnegrad, Bernard Chant, Laurent Le Guernec, Trudi Loren, Nicolas Beaulieuu, Jean Claude Delville, Rodrigo Flores-Roux, Christophe Laudamiel, Olivier Polge and Olivier Cresp.
