The fragrance collection of Bvlgari Man was initiated with the launch of the original perfume in 2010. The Silver Limited Edition with silver stripes on transparent glass was introduced that year and it depicts a modern man who choses a sensual fragrant experience. In 2013, the new Extreme version for men who desire a new sensual encounter was launched. Bvlgari Man Extreme has been announced as very elegant, deep, attractive and intense. It excites with its composition starting from the first note and luminous accords of pink grapefruit and Calabrian bergamot. After citruses and cactus zest, white freesia blooms surrounded with cardamom from Guatemala and gently warmed with amber. Elegance in base notes is accentuated with Haiti vetiver, Laoese benzoin, and Balsa wood.

Bvlgari, founded in 1884, is an Italian luxury goods house. The name is a derivation of the founder's last name, so it is pronounced simply as if it were written as Bulgari. The founder of the house, Sotirio Voulgaris, was originally from Greece where he learned the jeweler's trade. He left his home town in 1877 and made his way to Corfu then Naples before landing Rome in 1881. He launched the company in 1884.
