Woodysandal is the perfect balance between freshness and sensuality. Its perfume is based on exotic, aromatic woods that offer you a unique experience, like no other fragrance. The fragrance's base offers an innovative composition of nourishing ingredients that offer hydration to your skin throughout the day.

The interpretation of this perfume is inspired by the Woody and green facets of "the Door" and combines them with drier and heavier nuances of the cedar and leather accords. The scent starts with a Woody base accord which is built around a woody-green heart accord full of clove leaf essence, ambrette absolute, iris concrete, cistus absolute and cedar extract (very expensive extract used as a fixative). On top I've added a deep and lush petroleum accord (exacerbated by the presence of vanilla extract), which gives it a bit of smokey impression.

About The Brand:

Hermetica was founded in 2018 by Thierry Wasser, the 12th perfumer in history, and the only living perfumer who has done his apprenticeship with both a master perfumer and a master chypre perfumer. Hermetica fragrances are made in collaboration with famous French perfumers Phillippe Paparella-Paris and Alienor Massenet. The brand focused their talents on creating a number of olfactive universes where chyrpiness still has a predominant role, but where other styles can coexist.

Hermetica is a collection of molecular fragrances inspired by the ancient practice of alchemy, which sought to transform basic metals into precious materials and to find the ultimate elixir of life. Applying these practices to modern day perfume-making, Hermetica is based on the belief that finding the perfect perfume relies on the chemical connection between the molecules within a fragrance and one’s skin. The core concept was driven by desire to create an addictive fragrance with high memory appeal.
