Zen Gold Elixir by Shiseido for Women
- Concentration: Eau de Parfum
- Size: 100 ml
Shiseido's Zen Gold Elixir Dedicated to the brilliance, sensuality and perfume excellence that governs the Middle East, celebrates the finest raw materials in the modern art of perfumery. Accents of natural incense absolute and blue rose are mixed in a unique and intriguing composition, together with the heart of jasmine and the base of refreshing burnt cedar wood and intense notes of honey. Your fragrance is intensified by your own body heat. Apply in the creases of your skin and neck for a longer-lasting, stronger scent. After applying, avoid rubbing or dabbing the fragrance off. This breaks down the fragrance, causing it to wear off more quickly. If you prefer placing fragrance on your wrists, be sure to reapply after frequent hand-washing, as this tends to rinse off the scent.

About Shiseido:
Shiseido is a Japanese cosmetics and hair-care company founded in 1872. Although the company is Japanese, its name is derived from a passage in the classic Chinese text I Ching. A translation of the name reads, "Praise the virtues of the great Earth, which nurtures new life and brings forth new values". Arinobu Fukuhara, a former Head Pharmacist for the Japanese Navy, started Apothecary Shiseido in 1872 after returning to Japan after a visit to the United States. After adding a soda fountain to his business here in 1887, he added cosmetics to his line of products in 1900. The Shiseido company was established by Arinobu Fukuhara in 1872. Arinobu's son Shinzo was the company's first president. Shinzo studied Eastern medicine at a Japanese university, then traveled to America to study pharmacology at Columbia. A world traveler and a camera buff, he traveled to Paris in 1915, where he first encountered photography as an art, according to the Western aesthetic. Shinzo would go on to become a celebrated photographer, and his unique background, incorporating both Eastern and Western traditions, helped move the company from its origins as an apothecary to the cosmetics corporation it has become today.
