Missoni presents a new perfume under license Euroitalia in 2015, simply called Missoni. The first self-titled fragrance of the house was launched in 1982 under Max Factor, followed by Missoni fragrance from 2006 under Estee Lauder. The creative director of the brand Angela Missoni explained to wwd that she wanted to create a scent dedicated to a sensual and exuberant woman: “She is a confident woman, who wears this fragrance as a dress that glides on the body, enhancing the vitality and charm.†New Missoni perfume is opening with a fruity, floral and woody composition of this new edition. A trio of Italian citruses - which include bergamot, lemon and citron - begins the perfuming with pear. The heart notes include floral molecules of maholia (dense floral notes with undertones of jasmine), Petalia (Givaudan molecule that smells like fruity rose / peony) and Sambac jasmine. The base ends with tones of sandalwood, tonka bean and ambroxan.

About Missoni:
Missoni is a world famous Italian knitwear fashion brand established in 1953 by Rosita and Ottavio Missoni. They remain a family business and clothing brand headquartered in Milan. Ottavio was born in Ragusa (Dubrovnik) on Dalmatian coast. His father was Sea Captain Vittorio Missoni and mother was Dalmatian, Teresa De Vidovi?, Countess of Capocesto and Ragosniza.
Rosita and Ottavio first met at the Olympic Games in London in 1948. Before he met his wife, Ottavio was making sweaters, but soon after they got married, they switched to production of knit dresses. Their knitted dresses are multihued of yellow-red-rose-brown colors and their trademark. They introduced the first perfumes in 1980s, but today none of them is being produced. The new perfume in cooperation with Estee Lauder was launched in 2006. Their grand daughter is supervising and promoting the new perfumes of Missoni.
