Habit Rouge by Guerlain for Men
- Concentration: Eau de Parfum
- Size: 100 ml
Habit Rouge Cologne by Guerlain is recommended for this high-performance environment. With slightly Oriental overtones, this cologne opens with a combination of citrus aromas, including lemon, orange, and lime. The heart notes present a blend of spices, such as cinnamon, and everything rests on solidly masculine leather combined with vanilla. This cologne has a moderate sillage, suited to the bustle of an office, with reliable longevity to get you through your workday. The fragrance was introduced in 1965.
Apply Guerlain directly to your neck and to the creases of your skin to enjoy a stronger scent that lasts longer. After applying, avoid rubbing or dabbing skin. This breaks down the fragrance, causing it to wear off more quickly. If you frequently wash your hands, apply Guerlain again after doing so, as this tends to rinse off the scent.

About Guerlain :
The world’s leading perfume house, Guerlain, has always used luxurious and rare materials for its perfumes. This includes French vanilla or ylang-ylang from their own plantations in Comoro Islands, for example. Beside that, Guerlain has been an innovator in use of synthetic materials: Jicky (1889) was the first perfume to which Aimé Guerlain added a synthetic component—coumarin.
Bottles of all shapes and sizes – from splashes to shower gels – were produced for both men's and women's lines. After he died, his son Aime Guerlain became the main perfumer. Never one to be satisfied with the status quo, Jacques looked for ways to improve upon his father’s creations. His famous perfume Jicky, created in 1889, became the first "modern" perfume. It was also believed that it was he who created the so-called "Guerlinade"—the Guerlain base notes used for creation of multiple Guerlain perfumes.
The Guerlain house has been a family business since its inception in 1828, when Pierre-François Pascal Guerlain opened a store in Paris. In 1994, the House of Guerlain was purchased by LVMH. In 2002, the family legacy ended with Jean-Paul Guerlain's retirement, though he continues to work for the house as a consultant. Thierry Wasser was named the official in-house perfumer of Guerlain in 2008. The flagship Guerlain boutique in Paris was restored and reopened in June 2005. The house at the magic address 68 Champs Elysées, now not only a boutique and the main office but a museum as well, welcomes customers once again.
